Nationwide Test of the Emergency Alert System

Congratulations to Homewood High School Boys' Varsity Basketball Team for defeating Gadsden City 73-65 at Jacksonville State University on Friday, February 22, in the Northeast Regional Finals. The Patriots will advance to the 6A Final Four against Sidney Lanier High School at the BJCC arena on Thursday, February 28. Game time is set for 10:30 a.m. The Finals will be played Friday, February 29, at 7 p.m.

The Shades Cahaba Winter Festival will take place on Saturday, February 23, from 2 - 6 p.m. There will be a silent auction, inflatables, games, and plenty of fun for the entire family. Before the Festival the annual Owl Prowl run will be held at 10 a.m.

Boys' Varsity Basketball Goes To Regional Final  2/20/08
Congratulations to Homewood High School Boys' Varsity Basketball Team for defeating Huffman in the Northeast Regional semi-final putting the team in the Elite Eight. The Patriots will go on to play in the regional final against Gadsden City at Jacksonville State University on Friday, February 22. Game time is set for 10:40 a.m.
