Individual and Group Counseling
Counselors address the needs of students in several ways. For example, we regularly communicate with teachers and administrators to determine current functioning and progress. In addition, we value parent and student input when planning lessons and groups.
Small groups vary from year to year and by grade level. Topics may include areas such as divorce, grief, peer relations or conflict resolution. Parent permission is required for students to participate in small groups.
Counselors meet with students individually based on parent, student and teacher requests. We also meet with students individually to plan for the future, both academically and socially.
If you have any questions regarding individual or small group counseling, please contact your child's grade level counselor.
