After the Bell
Homewood Middle School provides an after school program called "After the Bell." The primary focus is to help strengthen academics. Each student in the program is provided a snack, study hall with tutoring from high school students, and supervised activities until 5:30 pm. Students must be independent and have the ability to work independently while in After the Bell. Because there is no nurse on duty, we DO NOT administer medication.
Fees for After the Bell are as follows:
$40.00 non-refundable registration fee
$45.00 per week
$110.00 Monthly rate during COVID A/B alternating schedule
$180.00 Monthly rate during regular full-time schedule
$15.00 Daily drop-in rate for REGISTERED STUDENTS
$20.00 Daily drop-in rate for NON-REGISTERED STUDENTS
$20.00 Late pick-up fee/ applicable after 5:45pm
Payment must be received by the 1st or the 15th of each month. If payment is not made by the 15th of each month, your child will not be able to continue in the program.
If you owe a previous balance from last school year (2019-2020), your child will not be able to enroll for the new school year (2020-2021) until past fees are paid (payment must be in cash).
Daily rates are due at the time of pick-up.
