2023 EDP Summer Camp Registration
Homewood City Schools is pleased to offer the 2023 Homewood Summer Program!
Registration for the Homewood Summer Program will be open February 1 through April 7, 2023! All students must be pre-registered in order to participate in the Summer Program.

The Homewood Summer Program is available to Homewood City School students who are currently enrolled in grades K-5 and have completed kindergarten. All current EDP accounts must be in good standing when registering.
Our program provides fun morning enrichment in classroom settings and afternoon sessions with the EDP leaders. Arts and crafts, boardgames, playground, gym, reading, movie time, and many other fun activities will be offered.
Swimming and waterplay activities are also offered, weather permitting. This year, the Summer Program will be held at Hall-Kent Elementary School. Edgewood, Hall-Kent and Shades Cahaba students registered for Summer EDP will attend
Hall-Kent Elementary School located in West Homewood at 213 Hall Avenue, Homewood, AL 35209.
The Homewood Summer Program’s hours of operation are from 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, June 5 - July 28, 2023. We will be closed Monday, June 19, for Juneteenth and July 3 and July 4 for Independence Day.
Summer EDP will be offered as two sessions this summer. You may choose to register for either session or the full summer.
June Session:
June 5 - June 30, 2023
(Closed Monday, June 19 for Juneteenth)
July Session:
July 5 - July 28, 2023
(Closed Monday, July 4, and Tuesday, July 5, for Independence Day)
Summer Tuition is as follows:
- Full Summer Tuition: $1000 per child, $625 due with registration and $375 due by April 28
- June Session Only: $625 per child, due with registration
- July Session Only: $625 per child, due with registration
Summer registration ends on April 7, 2023. NO LATE REGISTRATION WILL BE ACCEPTED!
You may also register for the 2023 Summer Program hosted at Hall-Kent Elementary School through your school’s Extended Day Program.
Please return completed Summer registration contracts to your school’s EDP director or drop them off at your school’s main office during regular school hours. Checks should be made payable to the EDP location where you are registering. Please include your children’s names and your telephone number on your check. You may also pay online with a credit card through the parent portal. (A 2.75 % convenience fee will be applied to all Summer EDP credit card payments.)
If you are currently registered for EDP, please make all Summer Program payments separate from school year tuition payments.
Summer registration is not complete until your registration payment has been received.
