Talk positively to yourself! Encourage yourself with positive self-talk. Examples include:

  1. "Things are tough right now, but I am tough too!"
  2. "I cannot control this situation, but I can control how I behave."
  3. "I don't have all the answers right now...and that's okay."
  4. "Life is full of challenges and I learn lessons from them."
  5. "I need to take things one day at a time. And, do the next right thing."
