Enrollment for the 2026-2027 academic year has not yet opened. Please take note of the following registration dates:

Kindergarten Enrollment: Opens May 6, 2026
- General Enrollment (Grades 1-12): Opens June 1, 2026
Families with incoming kindergarten students are encouraged to submit the Kindergarten Information Form linked below to ensure they receive important updates from their respective schools.

The Homewood School Locator Map can be used to quickly search school zone information for any Homewood residential address. This map is for informational purposes only, and it is not legally binding. This map should not be used for home purchasing/rental decisions as all residency inquiries should be verified by the HCS Residency Department at 205-870-2011.
To officially withdraw from Homewood City Schools, the withdrawal form must be completed for each child who is withdrawing. The first page of the form is to be completed by the parent/custodian and the second page is completed by the school official. THE WITHDRAWAL PROCESS IS NOT COMPLETE UNTIL THE FORM HAS BEEN SUBMITTED TO AND PROCESSED BY THE SCHOOL REGISTRAR. This will require the parent/custodian to come to the school to complete the process.
